Zion National Park, Part 2, June 2nd, 2016

The week after Memorial Day is a much better time for Zion NP.  The shuttle line that was easily several hours long last Sunday, today had no line at all.  Much better way to experience a park.  Today I hiked to the Emerald Pools, a short hike with some quite technically challenging parts.  I also did the Riverwalk trail, easy and paved. It only served to make me want desperately to hike the Narrows – a 4 mile “trail” almost entirely through the river, into incredibly steep and winding sheer cliff face canyon.  I was not prepared today.  Hopefully I can go back soon.
