Images from Key West

Our experience of Key West history included Ernest Hemingway, who penned most of his great works in his home in Key West. Sloppy Joe’s is the bar he used to frequent, and the typewriter is one he used to write many of his novels. He also bred six-toed cats, and Duke Ellington (the tabby in these pictures) does have six toes on his front paws. So does the shabby kitty sleeping in the door. The sailboat is simply a tourist sunset viewing boat, but it’s very pretty. The flower image was made in the butterfly garden.
